FSW candidates must have at least one year of continuous full-time skilled work experience (TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3) within the last ten years, meet minimum language thresholds in English or French, and have completed at least a Canadian secondary school diploma or equivalent foreign credential with an ECA.
Eligible candidates are scored under the FSW points grid (out of 100, with a pass mark of 67) and then ranked in the Express Entry pool under CRS.
